I have been a veterinarian at American River Animal Hospital since 1997. I have a special interest in dentistry, internal medicine, and exotic medicine. I believe that pets are an extension of family and I especially love having the opportunity to offer personal veterinary care for these important pets. I am a resident of Orangevale, CA with my husband, two human children, two feline children Jinxy and Mama Junebug Jones, and two canine children Madra and Andy.
I graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 and have been practicing locally ever since. In addition to general medicine, I have a special interest in physical therapy, surgery, and dermatology. I grew up locally and endeavor to provide compassionate care for the community and its pets.
I graduated from UC Davis in 2003 and worked at American River Animal Hospital from 2003-2007. I am very excited to be back, getting reacquained with old clients and meeting new ones. What I enjoy most about what I do as a veterinarian is getting to know clients and their pets and helping through every aspect of pet care, from early puppy/kitten-hood through the senior years. I have a special interest in Internal Medicine and Dermatology.
I graduated from UC Davis in 2012 and spent a year doing my internship at Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic. I love everything veterinary medicine has to offer, from internal medicine to surgery, but my passion lies in the human-animal bond we have the fortune of seeing every day. I am so very lucky to be in a career that allows me to care for the beloved pets of so many families. I currently live in Folsom with the loves of my life, Shelby (a black lab) and Mr. Kitty.
